Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2021 has finally been announced with a prize pool of $2 Million. The World Championship will begin on June 3, 2021. The tournament is presented by Sony and will feature the new smartphone Xperia 1 III, as the official mobile device.
This year’s championship prize pool is higher than last year, as COD Mobile players around the world enjoy the game. This time, the company has ensured that more teams are eligible for the winning amount. However, the 2021 World Championship tournament will also offer in-game prizes to all eligible players.
How to take part in COD: Mobile World Championship 2021?
There is no entry fee to register for this tournament, and anyone over the age of 18 can take part. The 2021 Championship will take a multi-level process for players to qualify. The Call of Duty Mobile World Championship prize pool is roughly around Rs 14.9 crores.

To participate in “Multiplayer Ranked” matches, players must be level 10 or higher. Through the Ranked Multiplayer mode, players will gain access to in-game events, and that will serve as a qualifier for regional rounds.
2021 World Championship format
There will be 5 stages in the tournament,
- Play Alone
- Team Games
- Regional Qualification
- Regional Playoffs
- World Championship Final.
In Stage 1 and stage 2, players will begin their journey in the tournament. First, players will compete in stage 1 as solo players over four weekends to reach the next stage. In Stage 2, players will form teams and compete with other teams to qualify for the next round. All teams at the top of the leaderboard will qualify for Stage 3.
Stage 3 and Stage 4 are direct paths to Stage 5, namely the World Championship Final. Here, there will be an elimination style where all the top teams will advance to the next stage.
The 2021 Mobile World Championship prize pool will be distributed in the Regional Playoffs and Finals. However, Regional Partner Tournaments may have separate prize pools that will be announced in the future.
In stages 1, 2, and 3, players can use an iPad, but in later stages of the tournament, players will need a Sony Xperia 1 III device. The team has categorically announced that players cannot use Controllers or other external equipment at any stage of the World Championship. If any player uses an external device then they will be disqualified from the tournament.
