What is the Creator Discount Feature?

Creator Discounts is a feature that allows you to set discount codes or links to promote your products. This can help increase your sales on our platform.

This feature is available to all creators on Gank for free.

Understandably, supporters are often hesitant to buy because they think their favorite items are too expensive. In this case, discounts can make a difference.

So, the idea is to show that your product has value but at a lower price, thereby making the original price seem worth it.

And what’s even more great is that you can customize coupons and share them with your supporters.

Why Use the Creator Discount Feature?

Here are the reasons why the creator discount feature is a must-use:

• Increase Sales and Revenue — Discounts can attract price-sensitive supporters and encourage purchases they might not otherwise make.
• Improved Marketing and Promotion — Discount links can be shared across social media platforms, blogs and other digital channels, increasing the reach of promotional campaigns.

How to Use Features as a Creator?

You can follow these steps to set up a discount using the Creator Discount feature:

To set discountsgo to Creator Settings > Discount > Add Discount. Fill in your discount code details:

• Your discount
• Discount Percentage
• Start Date and End Date
• Usage Limits (Single or Multiple)
• Valid for (All, Shop/Commission, Pay-Per-View, Membership)

Next, just click Send. Easy, right?

If you want to share your discount linkjust go to Discount page and click Share. You can choose Facebook or X to share the discount link directly. Or, you can copy the link to use on any platform you want.

Need to change your discount coupon? Does not matter! Just click Edit on the coupon you want to change. You can also track coupon performance to see if your offer is appealing to your supporters.

How Can Supporters Enjoy Discounts?

If you get a shared coupon link as a backer, you will be redirected to your content creator page. Can be in the Shop, Commission, or Membership tab.

Click Claiming to use or save a coupon (under the Vouchers tab). Make sure to use it before it expires.

When you make a purchase, the coupon will be automatically applied at checkout. By default, the coupon with the highest discount will be applied if more than one coupon is eligible for the transaction.

Don’t want to use the selected discount coupon yet? Don’t worry. Just click Change and then delete it. Or, you can choose another coupon that you like.

Please note that if the discount price is below the minimum payment, the minimum payment logic will apply.

For example, if the discount price is 0.01 USD, Taiwan will not be able to process the transaction because the minimum amount on Stripe for Taiwan is 0.50 USD.

Therefore, after discounts, the minimum amount charged for this transaction is 0.50 USD.
